Terms of Use
Last updated ·
The site interface and local tools are free; external AI providers may charge. The tools are provided as they are, your files stay yours, and please do not use them to do something illegal.
Using the tools
You may use the site interface and local tools free of charge, for personal or commercial work, without creating a site account or asking permission. External AI generation requires your own provider credentials and may incur charges or credit use. File, device and provider limits apply.
Output you produce with these tools belongs to you. We claim no rights over the files you bring to the site or the results you take away.
What is not allowed
Do not use the tools to process material you have no right to process, to produce content that is unlawful where you are, or to impersonate or harm another person.
Do not attempt to interfere with the site itself: no probing for vulnerabilities in order to exploit them, no attempts to disrupt access for other people, and no automated hammering of the CDN. Reporting a vulnerability you have found in good faith is welcome and is not covered by this paragraph.
Provided as-is, with no warranty
The tools are offered without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of output.
This matters more here than on an ordinary site, because the tools change your files. Converting, compressing, editing, encrypting or stripping metadata can lose information, and a browser tab can be closed or run out of memory part way through. Keep an original copy of anything you care about before you run it through a tool, and check the result before you rely on it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, these tools.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Third-party code
Several tools are built on open-source libraries, each under its own licence. Those licences govern that code; these terms govern your use of this site.
Advertising
Advertising is currently disabled. If enabled, we do not choose, endorse or vet the individual ads that appear, and a product advertised here is not recommended by us. How that advertising handles data is covered in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows when they last did, and continuing to use the site after a change means the revised terms apply.
